McCord statement to stakeholders 24 January 2013

A clinical research facility is planned as part of the expansion of McCord Hospital. This busy general hospital serves a large urban population at the epicenter of the HIV pandemic in Southern Africa and is an excellent base for biomedical and psychosocial research.

McCord has been identified as one of the affiliated clinical research sites for the soon to be built state of the art Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) TB Research Centre at the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
