“Thank you kindly for the extremely positive experience that we had with McCord Hospital on Monday, 8 February 2010. Contact with McCord was pleasant and welcome from the moment we arrived. We experienced all the staff as supportive and friendly. This was visible from the security guards at the parking entrance and right through our site visit in the hospital.
Ronel stated that there was an ambiance. In effect we both experienced a feeling of 'being home'. McCord definitely displays a calmness, being contended, working together for a larger cause, helping one another and care as a heart matter. Being both reborn Christians, our visit to McCord brought us back to basics.”
A thank you note to the Night Superintendent:

A huge thank you goes out to Sister LM Magwaza, the Night Superintendent at McCord Hospital. She was on duty last Friday night and contacted me at 2.00am on Saturday morning to tell me that my Dad (Mr Naicker) had passed away. She said the most heart warming words to the bereaving family and she was very sympathetic and showed a lot of compassion.
There are not enough words to show our humble thank you. I wish there were more people like you in hospitals these day.
You are one in a Million...

I have been to McCord Hospital a few times over the past few years. The doctors have
always been caring and professional. Today I was seen by Dr J Maharaj. I have never been to a doctor with more empathy, compassion and genuine interest in her patient.
I would like you to convey to the Board and the doctor my heartfelt praise
of this gem of a doctor you have at McCords.

About Labour Ward and Operating Theatre

“I wish to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and the nursing staff of your labour ward as well as your operating theatre on their display of extreme care, dedication and a high level of professionalism to their work.
My fiancée was admitted for the delivery of our daughter late Saturday evening 20 Feb 2010 and had to undergo the C Section on Sunday 21 February 2010 morning with a successful quick and hassle free delivery of our beautiful daughter delivered at 09:00AM.
I omitted to take note of the names of the personnel who were part of this successful venture, from the sisters who took care of my fiancée at your labour ward and a specially to the sister who was the mid wife immediately after the operation.
Your have the best team that is worth being taking good care of and I trust that they will keep up the good work.”
